Would you like to recruit Solomon Islanders on behalf of an RSE employer in New Zealand?
If you would like to be certified to recruit Solomon Islanders on behalf of an RSE employer, you can apply to the LM National Coordinator. You will need to complete form LM.1. You can download this form, print it out and fill it in, or, if you prefer, copies are available from the reception of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade (MFAET) on Mendana Avenue. It is not possible to apply for certification online.
After you have submitted form LM.1, you will be asked to attend an interview. This interview will be an opportunity for you to prove that you would make a good recruitment agent. If your interview is successful, you will be offered the opportunity to sign a Recruitment Agency Agreement (LM.5). Copies of this agreement are also available for download or from the reception of MFAET. Once you sign the agreement, you will be given a recruitment certificate.
Licensed agents are required to submit a feedback form to the LM National Coordinator for each employee both before they leave and after they return. These forms can be downloaded here:
